New Parking Rules at Hoffman Fields. Per the Howell Twp Police Dept, the following parking changes are being implemented at Hoffman Fields, effective immediately:
Parking in the small lot to the left of the brick building is by permit only. Only cars displaying a valid dashboard card will be allowed.
Vehicles in the larger lot must park in marked spaces. Anyone parked in fire lanes, exits and entrances, or on the grass will be ticketed.
If the lots are full, park at Memorial Middle School.
The police will continue to patrol all lots. Illegally parked vehicles could be ticketed.

it.
Fall 2008 Registration
If you plan to register a
child to play with us in the Fall you can now
pre-register. This means giving us the details
of your family so we can set up a "My Pinelanders"
account for you. Once we've done that you'll be able to
register your children and keep track of what's going
on. Click
here to pre-register.
If anyone in your
family has ever played with us in the pastyou
don't need to pre-register - you can access your
existing My Pinelanders account.
Registration forms are available from your "My
Documents" page.
For more information about the
Club and our programs, please see the Information sheet
on on the Documents and Forms
page.
Please remember to park courteously at Hoffman Fields. Do not
block other cars -- or the emergency entrance between the
two green trailers.
If the lots are full, please park behind Memorial Middle
School. There is a gate near field 5 so that you can safely
walk from Memorial to Hoffman.
Please do not park on the grassy areas near the roadway
at Hoffman, and do not park on the curved part of the driveway.
Do not park at the Social Services Building across the
road. It's too dangerous to cross the road. The entrances
to the building will be barricaded on weekends we play.
Coaches' Background Checks
Pursuant to Howell Township Ordinance 0-02-20, Pinelanders
is obliged to require all coaches and assistant coaches
to undergo criminal background checks before being assigned
a coaching position. Coaches must initiate the process
by attending a fingerprinting session.
If you are volunteering
to coach or assist, or to help as an unofficial coach with
a team, and you have not yet been fingerprinted, please
let us know and begin the background check process!
Please contact
Ken Kinelski
for more information.
Howell's Project Plus
As part
of the science program for the Project Plus class
at Memorial Middle School, our team is participating in
the
eCYBERMISSION
contest which is sponsored by the United States Army.
It is a web-based science, math and technology competition
for 6th through 9th grade teams. Students propose
solutions to real problems in their community and compete
for regional and national awards.
Our team is attempting to reduce the possibility of exposure
to the various bacteria, viruses and parasites that may
be present in the bird droppings found on our practice fields,
by educating our student-athletes and providing them with
some very simple guidelines to follow.
We want to thank The Pinelanders for agreeing to post
our handout, which encourages athletes to protect their
water bottles and mouth guards by keeping them from coming
into direct contact with the ground, and to use proper hand-washing
techniques after playing outdoor sports.
