GOALKEEPER CAMP

Boys & Girls Ages 4-5
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

This program is designed for the beginner, with an emphasis on skill, free play and fun! 

Additional emphasis is placed on the benefits and values associated with soccer, including cooperation, problem solving, discipline and respect.

The New Jersey Select Soccer staff is committed to providing a positive soccer experience.

Boys & Girls Ages 6-14
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Instructional program will develop the complete player through our own progression of daily skills, small-sided activities and free play.

Team training will give the New Jersey Select Soccer coaching staff an opportunity to indentify skill and tactical weaknesses in players, and to provide training solutions for positive team play.

Boys & Girls Ages 7-14
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Campers will learn basic and advanced goalkeeping techniques and the progression of proper catching, diving, distribution and angle play.

Goalkeepers will join their own teams or be assigned to a team for tournament play.

GENERAL INFORMATION

DAILY SCHEDULE

TUITION:
  • Pinelanders members: $85.  To qualify for the member fee you must have a child who has completed at least one season with Pinelanders. Please register through My Pinelanders.
  • Non-members: $100.

CAMP BALL: All campers must have a soccer ball when attending camp. You may bring your own ball or purchase the official Adidas camp soccer ball for $15. Ball must be ordered and paid for with application. Your ball will be available for pickup at the start of camp.

CAMP SHIRT: Each camper will receive a free official camp T-shirt.

HOW TO REGISTER:

  • Click here to register on-line.  You may pay on-line or mail a check within five business days.
  • On-site registration will be accepted on the first day of camp, if places are available. We recommend that you register early.
  • 5:15 pm.  Arrival & attendance
  • 5:30 pm.  Technical Skill training
  • 6:00 pm.  Positional training
  • 7:00 pm.  Team and Tactical training
  • 7:30 pm.  World Cup Tournament
  • 8:00 pm.  Parent pick-up

Camp Director Wayne Ramsey

Coach Wayne Ramsey is recognized as a true teacher of the game of soccer. Through his expertise, experience and professionalism he has been instrumental in raising the level of skill and tactical awareness for thousands of students from grade school through college.

Coach Ramsey’s innovative teaching methods have been developed through many significant soccer achievements:
